Something blue
My bookwork ‘Life Before CDs’ has been nominated for the LMNOP Publish Me! competition. So please go and vote for me and hopefully I can get it published / editioned. Thanks.

Well, sort of borrowed, as was actually given to me. Inside front cover of a hardbound ledger. Suspect the re-order number is no longer valid. More’s the pity.
The first piece of new work, and first post, for quite a while. I took part in the Tate’s two-day Art Mapping workshop, and have now created a page to put together all of the recordings that I made on my rainy 1.5 hour journey around Pimlico. All work was tagged & uploaded to Posterous at the time it was made (connection permitting), and you can see the collated results and a bit of the backstory here.

With the slew of ‘cassette-only’ release that seem to be popping-up everywhere at the moment, I felt it was a good time to re-post these.
Funkturm and Friends. 60 minute mixtapes, on cassette. Hand packaged.
These 60 minute mixtapes, recorded on cassette, are packaged in handmade covers, created from re-purposed vintage vinyl sleeves.
Lovely two-colour razor blade packaging print found in a junk shop in Rye.
Although I actually bought this collection from a stall in Brick Lane. Am assuming that ‘Blankpool’ is a typo / variant of Blackpool?
It’s been a while since I posted. I now have a half-share on a shiny guillotine, so will be producing lots of books with neat edges as soon as I get the chance. Here is shot of some initial tests, notebooks that fit into cassette boxes, made from recycled envelopes & tape covers.
I used to swim here. A set on Flickr, taken July 2010.
Something blue: PoGo print - Philips C-90. From a series of PoGo prints.
Something borrowed (2) - a cassette compilation from Variant, 1989 (Taken with Instagram at Brick Lane)
